As one of the four pillars of the CalGreeks community, scholarship plays an important role in every Panhellenic womxn’s life. Our chapters seek to provide women with the resources they need to thrive academically, including compiled study materials, professional development workshops, and scholarship opportunities. On a Panhellenic level, events like Panhellenic Study Hours provide our women with opportunities to enhance their educational experiences while also making new connections within the community. Our continued emphasis on scholarship explains why the all Panhellenic Cumulative GPA (3.48 in Fall 2019) remains consistently higher than the All Cal Cumulative GPA (3.38 in Fall 2019).

CPHC Community Development Scholarship 2021
The goal of Panhellenic is to empower the people within our community and beyond. This year, Panhellenic is giving away 6 scholarships of varying amounts between $500 and $1,000.
Our community acknowledges that historically our organizations have grappled with issues surrounding diversity and systemic exclusivity, and we recognize that we still do. Due to this, the Panhellenic Council has continuously prioritized creating a space inclusive to all, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, mental health, physical ability, gender, and/or sexual orientation.
Five years ago, our community created a Panhellenic Executive Council position, the VP of Community Development, to focus on these critical areas within the Panhellenic community; since then, this position has expanded diversity and inclusion efforts in all of our organizations. The Panhellenic Executive council recognizes that members who identify as an underrepresented minority within Greek Life, are faced with many intersectional challenges, and these impediments can often make a higher education degree and participating in Greek Life seem impossible. Through the Panhellenic Community Development Scholarship, PHC aims to mitigate these issues by providing financial support, community resources, and inclusion initiatives.
