MEMBERSHIP POLICIES: At Alpha Chi Omega, our mission is to empower each other to grow in our leadership, academics, service, and character. Our diverse sisterhood is the core of our chapter, enabling us to share in the bond that connects the hundreds of thousands of Alpha Chi Omega womxn across the nation. Alpha Chi Omega strives to remain inclusive of womxn of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, religions, and identities—regardless of sex assigned at birth.
ADA ACCESSIBILITY: Our chapter house is not ADA accessible at this time, although we are actively advocating for change. ADA accessibility is part of our upcoming 7-year capital improvement plan.
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: We fully recognize the financial burden associated with joining a sorority. For Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 semesters, we were able to reduce dues for both returning members and new members, providing about $235,000 of financial relief to Pi sisters and families. We also provide need-based scholarships to new members during their first semester to help offset this cost, as well as need-based scholarships to the rest of our chapter members each semester. At the national level, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation awards more than $250,000 in merit-based educational scholarships every year to collegiate and alumnae members.
