MEMBERSHIP POLICIES: Zeta Tau Alpha is an international women’s social fraternity, organized and operating in the Christian tradition, that has chosen to adopt membership selection policies that do not discriminate based on race, creed, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sexual orientation or disability. Zeta Tau Alpha membership is open to individuals who consistently live and self-identify as women. ZTA is a private voluntary friendship organization, whose object is “to intensify friendship, to promote happiness among its members, and in every way to create such sentiments, perform such deeds and to mould such opinions as will conduce to the building up of a nobler and purer womanhood in the world.”
ADA ACCESSIBILITY: The first floor main entry is barrier-free from the sidewalk. The dining room, the chapter meeting room, library, and powder rooms are all on the first floor and therefore ADA accessible.
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: The ZTA Scholarship Program remains at the heart of the ZTA Foundation’s mission. Thanks to contributions from Zeta Tau Alpha alumnae chapters, collegiate chapters, members and friends, the Foundation awarded more than $849,550 to 299 graduate and undergraduate students for the 2019–2020 school year. This brings the total amount awarded in the past two years to more than $1.6 million.
